Mechanical Testing measures material properties and provides information on characteristics such as strength, hardness, ductility, and impact resistance, all of which help determine the usefulness and service life of a component. HMT operates a full-service mechanical testing lab for metallic and nonmetallic materials, as well as components and specialty products. All test specimens are machined at our in-house machine shop, assuring timely completion of the testing process.
