With 2023 now in full swing I’d like to take a moment to express my gratitude to you, our customers and stakeholders, and to share where HMT stands now, where we are going, and where I hope that we can go together.
I was tremendously enthusiastic when I joined HMT, and now that I have had the opportunity to work alongside our people, that enthusiasm is all the greater. When I was first introduced to HMT, I noted its strong operational backbone; array of unique, complementary products and services; and its solid cost and profit structure. Even more, I was struck by the strong foundation and culture. I noticed something special about our people – their passion, “One HMT” spirit, curiosity, grit, and openness to collaboration and new ideas. All these core values are critical for us to always bring the best solutions forward and be the #1 partner to our customers across the globe.
Our agile team is also committed to providing those forward-thinking environmental solutions as they work alongside you to meet your core objectives. Our goal is nothing less than to be the industry’s key environmental partner.
To achieve that goal – while we are already a vital resource for storage tank design, construction, maintenance, and inspection -- we will be offering these products and services more holistically, in an integrated way. We will provide solutions that, all at once, draw on our expertise in increasing safety, minimizing the risk of damaging leaks and spills, and significantly reducing fugitive emissions, sometimes by thousands of pounds per tank per year.
In support of our mission, we are poised for both organic growth and strategic acquisitions that are a strong cultural fit. We are also exploring applications beyond oil and gas -- in water, renewable fuel storage, and in other settings where engineered performance and safety are key.
