Floating Roof Seal Selection Guidelines - presented at NISTM 2012 in Orlando, FL With numerous seal options available and limited guidance from existing standards, selecting and configuring the right floating roof seal can be a difficult task, one that when done incorrectly, can lead to problems ranging from regulatory compliance issues to premature maintenance outages to more significant failures. This paper explores various selection pitfalls and gives a list of guidelines / criteria for proper seal selection.
