HMT feels that the Engineer-In-Training Program provides an excellent opportunity for the new Engineer to become familiar with the HMT organization, while at the same time allowing the company to become familiar with the new Engineer and assess his or her capabilities.

The below listed agenda is subject to modification, depending upon the personnel needs at the time of training, as well as the HMT work backlog and personnel needs at the time of training.  It will probably not be necessary to rotate through all the various assignments listed, as there is some duplication included in the Program.  However, the duration of the overall Training Program will normally extend from 9 to 12 months.

The performance of the Engineer will be evaluated during and at the conclusion of the Training Program.  If satisfactory, he or she will be assigned to a position within the Domestic or International Operations Group, the Sales Group or the Engineering Group.  Such assignments will enable the Engineer to continue his or her experience training, but as a viable addition to the HMT organization.   As opportunities within the organization develop, and as the Engineer progresses in experience and competency, position advancements and possible relocation assignments will be offered.

We feel that the Engineer-in-Training Program provides an excellent opportunity for the new Engineer to become familiar with the HMT organization, while at the same time allowing the company to become familiar with the new Engineer and assess his or her capabilities.
