HMT
was founded in 1978, specifically for the purpose of
providing quality products and services for the maintenance and
repair of Aboveground storage tanks. HMT's field
services include the inspection, repair and retrofit of
Aboveground tanks. This service work includes not only
routine maintenance projects, but the special repairs and
replacements required due to corrosion, deterioration, or damage
due to wind, fire or sinking of floating roofs. HMT has
the technical expertise to evaluate the specific conditions and
determine the most appropriate corrective action to be taken.
HMT differentiates itself from local and
global competitors by offering outstanding technical expertise,
service and proprietary products and services which exceed EPA
standards and are better designed than any other on the market.
HMT serves a market segment which is growing due to increased
EPA legislation and an effort by oil and gas companies to
increase the usable service lives of their aging tank
population.
HMT is an active participant in the Petroleum
Industry and is involved with such organizations as the American
Petroleum Institute (API), the National Petroleum Refiners
Association (NPRA), and the Independent Liquid Terminals
Association (ILTA). HMT is a member of API's Refining
Division Tank and Vessel Subcommittee, responsible for such
documents as API Standard 620, API 650 and API 653.
