Standdowns"
at HMT
As part of HMT’s safety awareness,
HMT’s Director of Safety has designed “Safety Standdowns”. These events are designed to not only pass
on new safety enhancements, but get immediate feedback
from the HMT team.

employees, our customers and our stakeholders. Every level of
our company is required to participate in our safety program and
is accountable to every other person to perform their tasks in a

Health, Safety
and Environmental Statement
As a company we shall:

Ensure that Health and Safety is the
responsibility of all HMT and Sub-Contractor staff.

Apply and demonstrate a systematic and
integrated approach to HSE management to achieve continual
performance improvement and prevent adverse health and
safety impacts.

Manage our Health, Safety and Environmental
programs in line with accepted Business Principles.

Comply with all applicable laws, regulations,
Standards and other requirements to which we are
accountable.

Set Health, Safety and Environmental
expectations, objectives and targets for improvements
-
Promote Health, Safety and Environmental
awareness and assure competence to control our HSE risks.

Identify Health, Safety and Environmental
hazards and reduce risks to a level that is As Low As
Reasonably Practicable (ALARP).

Require everyone to stop any work, or prevent
work starting, where adequate controls to manage Health,
Safety and Environmental risk are not in place.

Require all individuals to report all
incidents and near misses.

Include Health and Safety performance in the
appraisal of staff and sub-contractor companies.
-
Conduct audits, incident investigations,
safety observations and corrective actions for items
identified as unsafe of not meeting expectations.

Require and assist Sub-Contractor companies
to manage Health, Safety and Environment in line with this
Policy.
