Retro Fit
Mini Shoe Seal
HMT has been designing and providing "state-of-the-art"
primary and secondary floating roof seals for many
years. Following this tradition, HMT has now
developed a "Primary Metallic Shoe Seal for Aluminum
Roofs". While metallic shoe seals have long been
the "seals of choice" for steel floating roofs, this
represents a "first" for Aluminum Roofs.
Aluminum Roof
owners can now select a Metallic Shoe Seal which will
resist the many products and additives normally stores
in floating roof tanks. Seal compatibility will no
longer be a problem for such hydrocarbons as benzene,
methanol, toluene, naphtha, MTBE, ETBE or TAME.
The Aluminator Primary Shoe Seal, combined with the HMT
9 mil PTFE laminated fluoropolymer vapor barrier fabric,
is resistant to virtually all products stored in
floating roof tanks.

These long lasting seals have been designed to function
with the roof in any position without imposing adverse loading on the
roof. The Aluminator Roof Pontoon Shoe Seal makes good economic
and environmental sense for today's Aluminum Roofs. |
