The Secondary Wiper Seal reflects
HMT's commitment to provide high quality products with

patented design combines unsurpassed gap sealing ability
with exceptional service life and maintenance free
operation. Evaporation loss tests conducted on
tanks with various types of primary and secondary seals
have demonstrated that, by combining a tight fitting
secondary seal with a primary seal, vapor emissions can
be reduced by as much as 90%.
HMT has been designing,
fabricating and installing seals on Above-ground Storage
Tank floating roofs for many years. The
"field-proven", HMT Secondary Wiper Seal™
has successfully weathered the test of time for over 20
years.
Each Secondary
Wiper Seal™ is designed for a specific tank application.
Such individual design considerations as tank "out of
roundness", shell condition, rim space variations, the
stored product, and tank in or our of service are
incorporated into every HMT seal.
